This is a 12 hour course run over 2 days for Women and their birth companion. I teach this course in small relaxed groups and privately for couples in Mollymook and Kiama Downs in southern NSW. I also teach privately from clients homes.  It is ideal to start between 20-33 weeks to best prepare for a positive birth experience

The 'hypno' part of hypnobirthing refers  to the hypnotherapy or deep relaxation that we use during Hypnobirthing Australia's Positive Birth Program to release fears stored in our subconscious and then condition ourselves to release copious amounts of endorphins (natures pain relief)  during our birth.

With the help of hypnotherapy, the birth of your baby can be a more calm and pleasurable experience; one where you are in the driver's seat, rather than feeling like a passenger. This is proven to reduce the need for interventions during your birthing.

The use of hypnosis in The Positive Birth Program is just one of the many tools of evidence based material that we utilise to prepare for a positive and empowered birth.

"Anne provided us with so much valuable wisdom and education around birth. Ultimately helping us to birth safely and confidently at home with our private midwife. Anne reinforced most importantly the body's natural ability to give birth.. and the power i had in controlling my mind to create a safe physical and mental space for us and our baby.
The hypnobirth content was taught thoughtfully and sensitively and we both left feeling empowered and excited about birthing the way we had chosen to.
Our Jack was born amazingly gently and safely at home."
